Waco Mammoth Site

Partnerships are the reason the Waco Mammoth Site has come to life.

Organizations such as the National Park Service, the City of Waco, Baylor University and the Mayborn Museum teamed together with private landowners and donors to protect the bones and develop the park.

The Waco Mammoth Foundation, a non-profit organization formed by local citizens, raised more than $3.2 million and played a pivotal role in the creation of the site. Their support along with government funding ensured the completion of the Phase 1 development.

If you would like to become a partner of the Waco Mammoth Site and assist with future development, call (254) 750-7946.
